I think so... As a Polish person I'd say Hawaii is an exotic place :) I wouldn't mind receiving a postcard from there!

wow, isn't this in the eyes of the beholder?? I live in New Mexico, USA and many people from other parts of the world consider this exotic and visit here. On the other hand, I would consider Thailand exotic but I'm pretty sure the people that live there would not. So how is this determined?

By exotic I meant the places and countries which they advertise in holiday magazines... I think this should help us all, and yes, HI counts as exotic place.
