WIYM: Send Something Special 2.0 (USA&Territories) This used to be referred to as the "Triple-S swap" which still stands for: “Send Something Special!” The idea behind this swap is to pick something special to share with your partner, after reading their profile page for inspiration. This is a Type 3 swap and will require additional postage beyond the standard letter-rate. Swap Requirements:
However, several flat items sent in a LARGE envelope or bubble mailer are acceptable as long as the enclosure(s) meet swap requirements. 😉 Per the swap-bot FAQ page: "Anything sent in a box, bubble mailer, or large envelope is a Type 3" swap. This is NOT a general “destash” swap; Profile reading is required. Please use your partner’s profile as a sort of “shopping/wish list” for inspirations of what to send. However, shopping is not required. Please use your best judgement or ask your partner in advance! For example, I don't expect items to be "new" in package if my profile page says I love vintage or handmade goods! Think it through...and ask yourself "will my partner feel like this is special?" before sending it along. This swap is limited by only your imagination, time, and resources.
Besides the swap rules stated above, all other WIYM Group rules still apply & will be strictly enforced; especially the rule about leaving blank ratings or not rating at all. I will look into each participant before assigning partners to try and ensure a positive swap experience for all those involved. I have hosted this swap in years past and anyone unfamiliar with my hosting style is highly encouraged to read my profile before participating. I have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to people with a history of cyber-bullying, habitual resend requests, and trolling. |
