Send your partner a letter or notecard answering the questions at the end of this post. Don't forget to pray and invite the Lord into your study time. Bible passages to read and reflect on this week: Revelation Chapter 21 (The Key Passage is Rev 21:4) All we have ever known is the old order. The old order is how life has been since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. But it is not all we will ever know. There is a better day ahead for those who know Jesus. God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, as was declared to the author in his vision of the Revelation. Even though things may seem hopeless as you battle cancer or live life with a difficult spouse, they are not hopeless. Regardless of how bad things may get in this world, there is another life to come. You will never shed another tear. You will experience no more pain. God Himself shall wipe away the tears from your eyes. He is in control. Can you imagine a world without death, mourning, crying, or pain? What is "the old order of things" that will pass away when Jesus returns and Kis Kingdom is established? Did you have any other thoughts or questions from your study this week? Share your thoughts! |
