TSTH Altered Holiday Decoration Swap

For this swap you will alter something to make it holiday related.

Here's how it works:

Everyone who participates in the swap will post what their favorite holiday icon is (snowflakes, santa, start of david, menorah, candles, candy-canes, bells, snowmen)

Once your partner is assigned, you will go to the thrift shop and find something to alter. You must change it in a way that it looks like or is somehow related to your partner's favorite icon. Don't cheat and actually buy an item that IS the icon.

Example: My partner sees that I like snowmen. She goes to the thrift store and finds a round teapot. She paints it white and gives it a snowman face, then ties a red tea towel on the handle as the scarf. Voila!

I am giving a looong time to finish this swap, as it will require you to shop and create. Due to the weight I will make this US only, though anyone who wants to make an international swap like this is welcome to.

Send something you would be proud to display in your own home.

Communicate with your partner if you have questions.

If you flake, you WILL be humiliated.
