Who among us hasn't written some poetry at some time in their life? Be it happy and rhyming, dark and freeform, bad goth, drunken rambling, or anything in between. Find a poem you wrote in the past that you're especially proud of, or write a new one. It doesn't matter if it's good or bad. Just find it or write it and send it out, along w/ a little information on what you were thinking when you wrote it.
