Series concept: Somewhere beyond the ordinary world are houses that should not exist.

A house that moves while you sleep. A house beneath a lake. A house with doors that lead somewhere impossible. A house that remembers everyone who has ever lived inside it.

For each swap, you will write a letter as though you have discovered, visited, lived in, or somehow become connected to one of these mysterious houses.

Your letter can be fictional, autobiographical, or a mixture of both. You can write as yourself, as a character, or even as someone who has been living in the house for years.

Include details about what you see, hear, discover, feel, and experience.

Theme: A house hidden underwater.

One day you discover an old house beneath the surface of a lake.

It has glowing windows.

There is somehow still electricity.

And someone appears to be living there.

What the underwater world looks like?

What is inside the house?

Whether the house is dry inside?

Who—or what—lives there?

What you find in the bedrooms?

What is hidden in the basement?

What the house's oldest room contains?

The one thing you are told never to touch?

Then explain whether you would stay overnight.

Optional challenge: Describe one object inside the house that has been underwater for hundreds of years.
