Oh, I am so glad you got my letter. (: I will certainly let you know when I know our new address. It is some sort of bureaucratic mess right now and I am not even sure when we will moving. We'll still get any stray bits of mail after we move because I will have it forwarded, but I probably won't have time to write a good reply until we are moved anyways!

My father was born in Hamburg and thus I grew up loving marzipan, sauerkraut, rollmops, and a dish that we called 'Muck' but I think it might be called Beefsteakhack (pronounced like that). Might be my dad's made up name for it too! Raw lean mince, raw egg, raw onion, salt, pepper, mix it up and have it on sandwiches (yes, raw).
I hope I get to 'meet' you in swaps next year. I'm slowing up for this month and then I'll get back into it again next year.
