April, 2026 - my craft room is probably as functional as I will ever get it, after emptying the room out, having it cleaned and painted, and purging excess supplies. I am a clutter-bug. I still need my art work hung on the walls, and that will happen at the end of this month when my handyman is scheduled.

I am retired, married and we live with our cat, Casey in a quiet cowboy/horse town in the Arizona desert. We have an adult son and he, his wife, and our grandson live in Europe. I LOVE being a grandma!

I enjoy all types of DIY projects and want to try and learn it all! I love to go to flea markets and antique stores - the fun is in the hunt for that perfect piece to add to my collections! I have even gotten my husband interested.

I enjoy playing MahJongg and play twice per week with friends and with a group at our local community center. I also play in local MahJongg tournaments and those keep me on my toes!

I love Paper Crafts - card making, journaling, book making, ATC's. My friend finally got me into decos and i'm really enjoying creating those.

I love mixed media art and assemblage. I make "memory jugs" using a lot of my favorite collections. I currently am making an angel jug where the base is a 5-gallon stone crock, encrusted with angels, and I have a mannequin bust I am encrusting with religious medals and will hang my collection of rosaries on.

I read every John Grisham novel. I enjoy a good story that engages a reader from the first chapter. Absolutely loved The Hunger Games series - Katniss Everdeen lives in my heart forever. I have not read the Harry Potter books, nor have I seen the movies - while I have some interest, I think the "hype" keeps me away. Possibly my expectations are too high? I have recently read Celeste Ng's novels and highly recommend any of her books.

I don't watch a lot of movies, but my top favories include Dirty Dancing, Shawshank Redemption, Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, It's A Wonderful Life, and how could I forget The Godfather Trilogy (but #2 is my favorite) I watched The Beekeeper and loved that movie - I felt a sense of satisfaction watching con men get their day of reckoning.

I just finished watching a series on Netflix called Brockmire. It stars Hank Azaria, who I absolutely love. It is a bit "raunchy" but such a good series. I'm glad I watched it. I like to watch YouTube video tutorials

I like a variety of music, including oldies, rock n roll, current pop artists, country, and will occasionaly tune into classical and broadway showtunes.
