I moved back to the family farm where I grew up four years ago and I am so grateful to be here. City life is not for me. I'm a very creative person and I am just getting back to art as I have not made time for it the past few years. It was my life for so many. I'm working on organizing my art and craft supplies and teaching painting classes again too.

I like a large variety of music and have become more open minded with it over the years. I mostly like classic rock, but I like newer rock also. I attended a lot of concerts in my teen and twenties. I didn't like country music in the past, but have learned to appreciate it more and give some of it a chance.

I like most all colors, but purple and burgundy are my favorites. I love Autumn colors like deep reds, oranges, golden yellows and brown. Jewel tones are also very pretty.

I love mixed media art, ATCs, acrylic painting and watercolor, painting porch boards and door hangers.

I love doing crafts with my niece who is six. She comes to my house and loves craft time with Aunt Katie. She thinks that my craft room is so awesome and I have so many supplies!

Bridesmaids, Elf, Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic, Christmas Vacation. I love movies with Will Ferrell or Melissa McCarthy in them. I also like horror movies.

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert is my favorite book, but there are so many others that I like. Big Magic, Memoirs of a Geisha, books on self discovery and Spirituality or topics of the metaphysical.

art, crafts, traveling especially to mountains or the ocean, nature, metaphysical stores and books, reading, puppy snuggles with my bulldog, soft fuzzy blankets, coffee, the season of Autumn, candles, crystals, owls, hot tea, recipes for crock pot or Fall/Winter, pumpkins, sunflowers, self discovery and spirituality but not religion, Fall aesthetic, letter writing, poetry
