I had to see where you were from after receiving your postcard. The stamp is beautiful. I love to hear children growing up multilingual. My grandmother's parents were German but they didn't speak German around the children. She'd overhear them speaking with relatives in German. I think it's sad that she wasn't able to learn. I think it was mostly to due with them trying to fit in the US during the times of WWI and WWII and the anti-German mentality :(
They came back! Thank you so much for very insightful messages! And, just for record, new group swaps are up, only SB still didn't send group reminder. ;) Oh, and... congrats on your 100th heart! ;)
You have a very interesting profile! I looked up Esperanto and learned more about it! I saw the comment about mirror writing. When my oldest son was young he would write in mirror writing. He was not trying to, it just happened naturally. Several of my children have dyslexia and dysgraphia.
I got the card while I was at work ( I work at the post office here) and noticed immediately it was in mirror language. Since I was in work mode I had to use a mirror on my break...And you wrote quite a lot on that little card! when I'm not so tired I'll give it a shot without the mirror
Thank you SO much for your postcard for my niece, Ally! It's her first international one! Please send me your address so we can send a Thank you postcard to you!
Thank you so much for the lovely Valentine's card all the way from Germany!! Swap-bot is very lucky to have member's like you. Happy New Year and have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
