Comment: Thank you for sharing. Your list looks so pretty. Agree, the smell of fried eggs is really bad. I remember once we have been to Spain and found fried eggs flavoured chips at a local store. I had to try them but instantly regret it. The whole hotel room smelled like fried eggs. Horrible. Would love to visit New York City one day too. Haha same here, I forget so many things but useless trivia will stay on my mind forever.

I learned about the idea from my Girl Scout troop leader when I was young. I liked your spin on the recipe - for mine I use ground beef instead of sausage, and sweet corn rather than carrots. I also only season with salt, pepper, often ketchup, and the butter for cooking. I am excited to try your version next time I camp! Thanks again, Clair

Rhubarb is something I grew up on so I am always trying something to "sweeten" it up. And it sure does look scrumptious. The soup is something I can make and freeze a batch or two to have on hand. Does it freeze well? Thank you for hosting and sending these recipes.
Response: I've never tried freezing it. I tend to eat it every day for lunch if I have leftovers.

Comment: I love this package so much I do not know how you know because not liking milk chocolate as much as other women do is very rare my favorite since child was white chocolate I didn't even start eating brown chocolate till I was an adult and you sent me a big white chocolate bunny and I was so shocked so surprised and so happy thank you so much and I don't think I even had that in my profile so you must be like a psychic also one of my childhood favorites the rabbits now we had them in this form of they look like big peanuts and we called them circus peanuts but they taste the same the other candies very different very cute I love them so thank you so much and everything was great.you even decorated the box and put Easter grass inside I felt like a kid again you made a great effort and it totally made my day♥️ you have a wonderful Easter if I could give you two hearts I would♥️♥️♥️

I definitely want to do the little wrapped gifts next time, seeing how it makes such a difference. I loved reading your letter during the whole process. First of all, the tote bag is so incredibly perfect for me, with the quote from one of my favorite books along with the nature painting (and sentiment), it feels like it was made just for me. ♥ What a special gift, with the perfect combination of being both useful and beautiful. Speaking of which, I'll absolutely get use out of the colorful kitchen tools, especially the tiny tongs. :) The sweet william and black-eyed-susans (my grandma always called "brown-eyed-susies") will be a lovely addition to my perennial flower gardens, and I look forward to growing asters for the first time. I love the sentiment and color scheme on the bookmark, the fun variety of happy mail stickers, jokers, and washi tape all make me smile, and the personalized note pad is a very special and thoughtful gift. My 5 year old instantly knew it was from Canada when he saw the red 🍁.
I have already opened the peanut butter clusters, sour straps, smarties and chocolate caramels 😂, my husband and 5 year old are also enjoying the swap.
Everything is so yummy, the maple candy is so tasty, I can only buy maple syrup here😁. I just love this type of swap, I’m looking forward to having a coffee crisp tomorrow with my coffee.

Let's see: there were just a few songs I knew (and already liked!) -- "The Littlest Birds", "Mushaboom", "Sunny Road", "My My Hey Hey." (Also "Feels Like Home", though not that particular version; it's nice!) I was also previously familiar with many of the artists but had not heard the particular songs by them (i.e. Sarah Harmer, Joel Plaskett, Martyn Joseph, Josh Ritter -- whom my dad loves, by the way; I'll have to ask him if he knows "Still Beating"). And there were many brand new names to me that I'd love to hear more of (i.e. Del Barber, Oh My Darling, Lisa Miskovsky, Of Monsters and Men -- I LOVE discovering new music from Scandinavia!). My husband and I will have an "all Canada/New England" show on April 5th in honor of our upcoming trip to Montreal and New England; so if I haven't yet played the CD's, they'll definitely make their debut on my radio show that night. :-) Thanks so much!!!!

What an awesome package! Thank you so much for everything you sent! The Modern Family album is KILLER. My partner is SO jealous of it. We cleared off our coffee table just so it has a home and will get lots of admirers. :) The magnets are great, the colouring book is awesome, love the bookmark... Everything, seriously, is perfect. Can hardly wait to get into that book you sent. Hope you love the package I send you just as much! I plan to write you again soon too, and send more goodies. :)

Comment: A package full of lovely Canadian candies arrived at my house today! Thank you for the generous package and for wrapping and labeling each one as that made it more fun to open. I was surprised to see green tape all over the box that said "opened by border patrol". Hopefully they didn't try any of it but inside were six different candies and I love them all - especially the Smarties. You're correct - they're very different from the USA smarties. I love that all the wrappers have English & French wording. I'm looking forward to trying everything but my husband already claimed the sour watermelon ones because he knows I don't enjoy sour things. Thank you again for the great package. I hope you enjoy what you receive as this was a great swap, one that I'd love to do again.

I thought it was really nice to receive two cds from both you and your husband. :) I really enjoyed the music on your mix cd and felt very mellowed out after listening to it, which is always good. For your husband please tell him that I was very happy to hear the #8 song (Volare- Gipsy Kings) on his cd, I heard the song a long time ago and really liked it, but never got the name of the song, and when I heard it I was like "OMG, I love this sing!" lol so yeah that made my day.
